How credits
work.

One credit covers one cent of Dashpop service usage. The cost depends on the model and the work you ask it to do.

Your account shows what’s available, what’s reserved, and what you’ve spent. Credits aren’t a fixed number of prompts or finished games.

1

Reserve before starting

An AI call reserves its maximum approved cost.

2

Charge for measured usage

Unused reserved credits return to your available balance once usage is confirmed.

Available and reserved credits are shown separately in your account.

Add credits
when you need them.

Add a one-time credit pack to your active plan. Top-ups don’t renew, and the credits you buy stay valid for twelve months.

Prefer automatic refills? Set a balance threshold and monthly cap in your account. They start off; saving a card doesn’t turn them on.

How are credits charged?

AI calls reserve their maximum approved cost before they start, then charge measured usage. Usage before a failure still counts. Uncertain usage stays reserved until reconciled. Manual edits and preview builds do not spend credits. Artwork made through the agent uses AI-call credits; imports and local artwork tools have no separate job charge.

Do I need a subscription?

Yes. Creator or Studio is required for paid Dashpop service access and spending credits. Top-ups add to an active plan; they do not replace one.

What happens if I cancel or change plans?

Cancelling stops future renewal. Your remaining credits stay in your balance and keep their own expiry dates — plan credits two months after they were granted, purchased credits twelve months after purchase. An active plan is required to use them. Plan changes preserve your balance; the new allowance arrives after the next renewal payment, without prorated credits.

How do automatic refills work?

Automatic refills are optional and start off. Enabling them requires a saved card and your explicit consent. You choose a balance threshold and a monthly cap. The cap applies to automatic purchases per UTC calendar month, before tax; subscriptions and manual purchases are separate. Already-submitted refill payments may finish after you switch refills off.

Can I be charged over my balance?

There are no automatic overages. You can choose to buy a credit pack or explicitly enable automatic refills. Saving a card alone does not authorize refill purchases.

Can I try Dashpop first?

Yes. Play the browser example on our homepage, explore the Editor tour, or try the interactive lessons in Learn. None of those requires signing in.
